After meeting Swami Bawra in 1982, Margot began teaching yoga in the Kent area to develop an interest in yoga and philosophy as a way of encouraging people to study with her teacher. Since that time, yoga has grown throughout the States, and, in Kent, from one weekly class to multiple classes. The style of teaching in this area has developed from a national affiliation with Integrative Yoga Therapy, and now with the training of Brahmrishi Yoga, there is a steady emphasis on therapeutic Hatha Yoga, a practice of meeting the needs of the students for health and healing. Whether the class is gentle, moderate, or challenging, the approach is one of holistic and gradual development.
The Kent area now hosts many teachers who have graduated from Brahmrishi Yoga Teacher Training.
