Brahmrishi Yoga supports a mission school in Jabalpur, India. It is one of the last schools established by Swami Bawra and it was dear to his heart. The land for the school was purchased in 1998 and a temporary school and hostel were built. The school serves the poorest children from the tribal area of Central India and the city of Jabalpur. The hostel gives room and board for children from the tribal villages. The school gives free tuition, books and uniforms to all children who attend.

The school offers quality instruction to children who would not otherwise receive an education. The curriculum meets the requirements of the State Board of Education in Madhya Pradesh. Children are taught Hindi, English, Sanskrit, grammar, mathematics, science, environmental and social studies, and computer skills. Extra curricular activities include dance, music, art and athletics.

The school languished at the time of Swami Bawra’s passing. In 2003, there were only 46 students, including 22 living in the hostel. Classes were held outdoors and living conditions were rustic. In that year, Didi Gyaneshwari left her post at the main ashram to take over the administration of the school. Didi Gyaneshwari has master’s degrees in philosophy and in education. Under her guidance, a dormitory with administrative space was constructed. The old hostel houses temporary classrooms. The student population has increased to 350 students, and 50 of these students live at the school. A new principal and teachers have joined the staff, and construction of a new school building has begun.
